September 19, 1937 – December 4, 2019
Rodnis Thibodeaux, 82, a longtime resident of Bayou L'Ourse passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in Berwick while surrounded by his loving daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rodnis was a good man who adored his wife and family. He worked hard to provide for them as a truck driver, crane operator and later a supervisor for Patterson Truck Line and later Texaco. He raised his beloved wife's children as his own because in his heart, they were HIS. Another love of his was Saints and LSU Football which he greatly enjoyed watching and cheering for. Rodnis was a kind and sweet man who brought many smiles to others and he will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have him in their life.
Rodnis leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Patricia 'Pat' Lodrigue; four grandchildren, David Sawyer, Timothy Meredith, Claude Lodrigue Jr., and Jeremy Lodrigue; his great grandchildren, Tasha, Dustin, and Jace Lodrigue; his sister, Judy D. Moffett; his niece, Earline Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Thibodeaux; his parents, Alphonse and Onelia Aucoin Thibodeaux; his daughter, Connie Favreaux; his son Wilbert Fryou Jr.; his twin brother, Rodney Thibodeaux; his sister, Marjorie Brown; his brother-in-law, Clyde Brown; and son-in-law, Claude Lodrigue Sr.
The family requests that visitation be observed on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 10am until time of services at 1pm at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Following the services, Rodnis will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife in the Morgan City Cemetery.
