Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm. Visitation will resume on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 8am to 10am with the Funeral Service immediately following. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Ronnie enjoyed collecting antiques, antique cars, gas pumps, gas station signs and many other things and frequent trips to the casino. Ronnie retired after serving 36 years from the U.S. Postal Service. Ronnie had a colorful personality and lived life on his own terms.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his daughter, Rhonda LeRay; son, Ronald "Ronnie" Sanders, Jr. and his wife Joy. He also leaves behind 2 grandsons that he adored, Eban and Omri Sanders; sisters, Shirley (Jim) Terry and Debbie (Mark) Percle and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Julia Bergeron Sanders; sister, Mercedes "Dee" Sanders and his brother, Henry "Jay" Sanders.
