Selma Wiggins Bailey

She worked alongside her husband, T-Man, at their general store and gathering spot on Four Mile Bayou for almost sixty years. Mrs. T-Man, as she was commonly referred, served countless customers, friends and family on the bayou. Everyone was greeted with a loving smile and kind heart.

Those left to cherish Selma's wonderful memory are her daughter, Gail Bailey Aysenne and her husband, Charles; her grandchildren, Lisa Aysenne and Jason Bailey; and three great grandchildren, Hannah Bailey, Luke Bailey, and Kate Bailey.

She was reunited in heaven with her husband, Ervin "T-Man" Bailey Jr.; her son, Ervin "Bee" Bailey; her parents, Andrew and Rose Wiggins and her siblings, Mervel Wiggins, Cliance Wiggins, and Bertha Fryou.

The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be observed on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 9:00 am until time of services at 10:15am at Hargrave Funeral Home. Following services, Selma will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Those honored to be pallbearers will be Jason Bailey, Luke Bailey, Jimmy Bailey, Michael Ware, Thomas Gros Jr., and Russell Wiggins Jr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City, Lousiaian.
