Johnny was a longtime resident of Bayou Vista who was known for his happy and fun loving personality. No matter what gathering he was at, he brought laughter either from his jokes or antics. In short, he was the life of every party. Johnny was a performer, no matter if he was on a stage or not. He sang every song he could, he danced without missing a beat, and he lived life to the fullest each and every day of his 70 years.
Johnny’s wonderful memory will be forever cherished by his wife of 28 years, Jelena Winters; his daughters, Monica Watkins and her husband, David, Jennifer Dryden and her husband, Shannon, and Raven Winters; his son, Nolan Freyoux III and his wife, Katelyn; his grandchildren, Justin Watkins, Abigail Watkins, Genevieve Breckoff, Andrew Breckoff, Emily Breckoff, Corbin Freyoux, Parker Freyoux, Katleyn Dryden, Hannah Dryden, Sebastian Smith, Jordan Breaux and Trey Breaux; and one great grandchild, Zaiden McBride.
He was greeted in heaven by his father, mother, sisters, and father-in-law.
A time of visitation will be held for Johnny on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 9am until 11am with a Celebration of Life taking place at 11am at Hargrave Funeral Home. Following the visitation & service, a memorial gathering will be held at Johnny’s favorite bar, Da Camp, in Bayou Vista.
