Verna Mary Crappell

Verna leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Norris Crappell and his spouse, Sherry, of Berwick, Billy Crappell and his spouse, Dale, of Bayou Vista, and Reed Crappell and his spouse, Penny, of Berwick; her daughter-in-law, Wanda Crappell; her brother, Woodzay Vining and his spouse, Ave; six grandchildren, Dwayne Crappell, Keith Crappell, Kim Henry, Angie Crappell, John Crappell, and Casey Crappell; seven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Crappell; her parents, Rudolph and Mary Vining; a son, Kent Crappell; one brother, Milton Vining; and two sisters; Amy Luchsinger and Leonia Eva Vining

The family requests that a time of visitation be held on Sunday August 21, 2016 from 6pm-9pm and again on Monday August 22, 2016 from 8am until the time of services at 10am at Hargrave Funeral Home. Verna will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery following services.

Acting as Pallbearers will be Reed, Billy, Casey, and John Crappell, Cliff Townsley, and Anthony Adams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Woodzay Vining and Norris Crappell.
