Veronica Guidry Turner

Veronica was a beloved mother who adored her grandchildren & her family. She had a strong, feisty nature and never hesitated to speak her mind, always sharing her thoughts and opinions in her straightforward, no-nonsense way. She kept her life simple, and everyone knew exactly where they stood with her.

Her family remembers her love for cooking, especially her famous cabbage rolls, which were always a favorite. Her life was marked by honesty, simplicity, and a clear sense of who she was, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Amy Turner and Darus Turner and his wife, Mandy; and her grandchildren, Taylor Turner, Emmy Feliciano, Kenzie Louviere, and Zack Turner.

She was reunited in heaven with her parents, Bernie and Gustavia Guidry and her brothers, Ewald Guidry and Bonnes Guidry.

The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be observed on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 9:30am until time of services at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Veronica on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00am at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Francis Kayaye officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Berwick Cemetery.
