Virginia Graf

December 8, 1925 - September 4, 2012

Virginia was born nearly 87 years ago to Victor and Rosalie Guarisco. She was a lifelong resident of Morgan City. While at home on September 4th , she left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Virginia led an active life and enjoyed participating in local events and festivals. She was an excellent cook and loved sharing her favorite dishes with everyone. She was an accomplished bridge player and always enjoyed travel to new places as well as meeting new people.

Above all other earthly things, Virginia was a devoted wife to her husband David who passed away in 1990, a wonderful mother to both her daughter Lisa and son David, a doting grandmother to her grandsons Christopher, David, Andrew, Victor and Benjamin, a passionately loyal sister to Rosalie, Peter, Luke and Vicki, a loving aunt to each of her 14 nieces and nephews, and a friend for life to all who knew her. It is for all these that she poured out her life to the very last moment…

A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross church on Friday morning September 14th. The doors will open at 8:30 and the service will begin at 10:00. Virginia will be laid to rest at the Morgan City Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Hargrave Funeral Home.
