

Adalean Pearl Campbell, aged 97, of Mt. Morris, PA, peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She lived a long, fulfilling life marked by love, kindness, and unwavering faith.
Born on Monday, August 15, 1927, in Morgantown, W.Va., Adalean was the daughter of the late Lenzie J. Campbell and Beulah B. Hamill Campbell of Mt. Morris, PA.
Adalean was a devoted member of the Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle, where she dedicated much of her time and energy to serving her church community. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her. She loved serving the Lord, and her last words were, “Thank you, Jesus”!
For over 20 years, Adalean worked at Thorofare, a place she fondly called her home. As a skilled meat cutter and union member, she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
She was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and cherished friend. Adalean is survived by her niece, Donna Straight of Mt. Morris, PA; great-nieces Serena Straight of Morgantown, WV, and Cassie DiFucci and her husband, Marc DiFucci, along with their daughter, Dollcie Lee DiFucci, of Erie, PA; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Denny, and her husband, Frank Denny, a beloved neighbor and friend, of Mt. Morris, PA; as well as several other family members and friends.
Adalean was preceded in death by her four sisters, Maxine Frankenberry, Helen Rudolph, Vauda Bitsher, Jean Novotny, and her two brothers, Donald Campbell and Walter Campbell.
Her family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her long-time caregiver and friend, Crystal Eddy, along with her other in-home caregivers and the Amedisys hospice medical staff, for their compassionate care and support.

Adalean will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 110 Hobbs Run Rd, Mt. Morris, PA 15349, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, with Reverend Joseph L. Adams officiating. Following the service, the family invites everyone to join them for a small lunch at the Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle.
