

Richard Allen Forquer, 75, of Core, West Virginia passed away at 7:25 PM on Thursday, June 19, 2025 in Waynesburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesburg. He was born October 10, 1949 in Core, WV a son of the late Gilbert Rae Forquer and Jennie Pawlak Forquer. He was member of the US Army, having served from August 5, 1969 till March 12, 1971. Richard attended the Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association, the James T. Maxon American Legion Post #992 and former member of the Mount Morris Sportsmans Association. Richard loved rebuilding and restoring automobiles. He worked as a coal miner for 27 and a half years for Humphrey Mine. His Wife: Dianna Bennett Forquer, whom he married on March 26, 1970 survives. Also surviving are 1 Daughter: Susette Davies and companion Jeff Shisler of Core, WV, 1 Son: Rodney Forquer and companion Venessa Poling of Core, WV, 6 Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 4 Sisters, 5 Brothers and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are 3 Sisters and 1 Brother. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 324 Mount Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mount Morris, PA 15349 where service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 26, 2025 with Pastor Joseph Adams officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris, PA 15349 Shane M. Ayers- Managing Director. Graveside military rites to be accorded by the James T.
