

A.C. Cole, age 99, passed away on May 19, 2013. A.C. was born February 19, 1914 in Fulton, Kentucky, the son of Arzo and Cora Cole. He was a retiree of Dresser Industries. He leaves to cherish in his memory his loving, devoted wife of 69 ½ years, Mary Blanch (Armstrong) Cole. A.C. is survived by his 3 children: Stella (Robert) Luce, Ivan Daryl (Paula) Cole, Donald (Connie) Cole; six grandchildren: Adam (Kathy) Cole, Reneé (Charlie) Pleimling, Joseph (Lisa) Luce, Julia Bos, Jennifer (Matthew) Kolb, and Nathan (Lindsey) Cole. A.C. is also survived by 16 great grandchildren. Surviving too, is his sister, Golder Benson, and many nieces and nephews. A.C. was a legend among Muskegon anglers. He loved nature and the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman all of his life. He enjoyed telling his hunting and fishing tales for family and friends. He loved gardening and gardened through his 98th years. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Christian Care Building Fund. A funeral service will take place at 12 noon on Thursday, May 23 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 22 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Thursday, one hour prior to the service, at 11 a.m.
