Marilyn and Family,
We first met Pastor Al at Bible Baptist in the late 70's. He was quite the character. We will never forget the night he accidently threw his Bible into the choir pews behind the pulpit. He served as the Associate Pastor then and was in charge of the Bus Ministry where he always had some great motivational messages for us on Saturday mornings before we headed out to call on the children. We also remember the tears that flowed down his cheeks when he prayed to his King.
May the Lord grant you His peace and comfort in your loss.

Pastor Al was such an influence on me when I first came to Evanston Avenue Baptist Church. His sense of humor and down to earth ways were always comforting to me. I'm so glad you are collecting your rewards Pastor Al and I look forward to seeing you again someday.
