Allen G. Bench, age 75 of Muskegon, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 in the loving arms of his family. He was born on October 19, 1939 in Ravenna to Marshall and Florence Bench. Al proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Following his time in the service, he graduated from Muskegon Community College. Al worked and retired as an Engineer from Dana. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Duane Bench; his son, Garry Bench; and his step son, Gerald Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Freda Bench; his son, Ross Bench; his step children, Jeffrey, Brian, and Julie Bennett; his 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and his brother, Leroy Bench. A memorial service will be on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 11-3pm at the Montague VFW Hall; 9370 Walsh Road in Montague. Officiating will be Heather Dean.
