Amy Sue Anderson

Amy Sue Anderson, born on January 23rd, 1963, was called home by the Lord on June 24th, 2025. A Lifetime resident of Muskegon and a 1981 graduate of Oakridge High School. Amy maintained lifelong relationships with friends from Wolf Lake and countless other friends from the Muskegon area. She loved golf, swimming, bonfires, kayaking, and tubing. She always had a relationship with Jesus and particularly embraced the Lord since her sobriety on October 3rd, 2010. She unabashedly shared that love with those who would listen and particularly with those she could help. She aspired to help everyone and anyone at ever opportunity. This was the most special and defining attribute of Amy. Many lives were touched by her passion and willingness to be there for them at any time. Amy worked at Genesis Seating, then Irwin Seating, up until her retirement 4 years ago.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Albert "Bunny" Anderson (Muskegon) and Eleanor Anderson (Muskegon), brother Richard Anderson (Montana), and a nephew, Greg Anderson (Muskegon/Hesperia).

She is survived by her siblings, Steve Anderson (Cristie), David Anderson (Tina), Harvey Anderson (Mary), Scott Anderson (Leslie), Kelly Chartrand (Dan), and Mark Anderson (Nisakron "Ott"), and a dear and lifelong friend, George Biggs.

Of all her relationships she cherished being "Mom" and "Grandma" more than anything else. She tirelessly fulfilled those roles. She is survived by her children Michelle "Micki" Biggs and her son Michael Anderson (Kristy), both of Muskegon. Along with her grandchildren Gabriella, Julieonna, Alannah, Emerson, Braxton, "AJ" and Bronx. Spending time with her grandchildren brought the greatest joy to Amy in her later years, and she spent so much time with them. She gave them experiences that will last a lifetime.

She is survived by so many loved nieces and nephews, but especially close with Lisa Anderson (Muskegon).

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at Fruitport Eagles Aerie #3666 (3354 S. Dangl Rd., Muskegon, MI 49444) on August 2nd, 2025, at 1-3 PM.
