Betty Lavon Gerard passed away on May 18, 2018 surrounded by family. Betty love crocheting, going to the casino, and meeting up with her retiree pals from "Dresser Industry." She was a devoted and loving grandmother. She loved her dog Link tremendously.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnny "Bud" Gerard, her granddaughter, Trina McDonald, as well as several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Joni) Gerard, Paula (Ivan) Cole, Pat (Bob) McDonald, John (Amy) Gerard, Toni (John) Leroux, Chip (Kelly) Gerard, Scott (Kathi) Gerard, Gina Sylva, Gary Courser, sixteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 1pm to 2pm in honor of Betty. Memorial contribution donations can be made to Mercy Health Heart and Pulmonary Care.
