Beulah May Bowden, age 78, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Beulah was born on March 14, 1936 in Pikeville, Kentucky to parents Alex Ray and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Blankenship. She enjoyed many things like crocheting, playing bingo, going to the casino, and especially going to Goodwill and stopping at yard sales. She loved and cherished her children and grandchildren. Beulah will be lovingly remembered by her children: Alice (George) Johnson, Robert (Karyl) Bowden, Tammy (Mike) Duell; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings: Jack (Margaret) Hoffman, Rose (Junior) Krudoff, Gloria (Albert) Ashley, Willie Ray Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Bowden; mother, Elizabeth Hoffman; father, Alex Ray Blankenship. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel (1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon).
