Beverly was born on August 10, 1940 in Petoskey, Michigan to Donald and Lillian (Baker) Bailey. She married Wallace Poole on May 23, 1959. Together they enjoyed 56 years of marriage until his death in 2015. Beverly worked her secretarial skills as a legal assistant. She was a member of the May Flower Society and enjoyed studying genealogy. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing. She was a caring and loving person. One of her greatest joys in life was the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beverly was the thread that would bind her entire family together.
Beverly will be lovingly remembered by: her children, W. “Jay” (Karen) Poole Jr., Kathy (Patrick) Cain, Craig Poole; grandchildren, Brianna (Craig) Steadman, Ryan Poole, Leah (Tim) Slot, Emily (Matt) Boogaard, Ashley Poole, Kyle Poole, Brooke (Nick) Thrall, And Marlee Cain; great grandchildren, Elijah Boogaard, Aislee Thrall, Jonah Slot, Bennett Steadman, Isaiah Slot, Lawson Thrall, Andilyn Steadman, Sophie Boogaard, Louelle Thrall; Sisters Joyce Davis and Linda Calabro.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Donald Bailey and Lillian Baker; siblings, Janice Mayhew, Donna Mulinix, and Skip Bailey.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will take place on Wednesday August 11, 2021 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Service will begin at 11:00 am followed by a time of sharing memories with light refreshments.
