Your families are all in my prayers. I remember visiting Birdie with Norma some time ago.  She was an interesting person to me.  This is always a hard time for the families, but you will be able to get peace and comfort through all our prayers.

I am sending our deepest sympathy to my step-mom Norma and all her family.  I met Birdie a couple of times, throughout the years, and she always was very sweet to me. As alot of us know, it is very difficult to loose a loved one.  It usually makes us so much more aware of our own mortality and that life is short.  Each day we are given is a blessing and we learn to not sweat the small stuff, but to appreciate what we have. . . family, friends and love.  When you have your faith it helps everything fall into place.  At lesst that is what gets me through the tough times.

I met Birdie two years ago and enjoyed our talks very much. Not a week goes by that I look at the Family Foods/Plumbs flyer without remembering Birdie's determination to get the best buys of the week. I was blessed to have met such a good woman.

I am so thankful that I got to spend the last 5 1/2 weeks with mom. We had so much fun laughing and joking around and yet was able to talk about Heaven and what it would be like to be there. Mom knew she was going to be with the Lord and looked forward to be able to see all of her loved ones that has gone before her. The day before she died, I named all the ones that she would be seeing, she had a big smile on her face. She is where there is no more suffering, she done more than her share of suffering over the years. We know for sure we will be seeing mom on the other side. She was hoping all her loved ones will give their lives to the Lord so she can see them again. Marsha Dula thank-you for your message, get hold of me sometime.

To Birdie's family: I have asked for God's grace to carry you all as you share the loss of your dear one.  Her son George is one I see regularly, and my thoughts are with Bud and Virginia as well.

A couple of weeks ago grandma was asking me about her new body in heaven and how people would know her. I didn't have the answer right then but went home and did some reading. I never had the chance to share with her what I found, she went too soon. God provided the answer for her, I know she is living with all her loved ones in heaven in her beautiful new body. I am so happy for my grandma. I love you Grandma and miss you!

I haven't seen Birdie for many,many years'. The spans of time nor distance have little bearing on our fond memories.
