Bonnie E. Hammond, age 71 of Muskegon, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the loving arms of her family. She was born on November 18, 1944 in Albuquerque, NM to Howard and Eileen Rainwater. Bonnie is survived by her children, Penny (Larry) Vaandering, Patrick (Ann) Rainbolt, Jr., and Charles Hammond; her grandchildren, Derek, Stephanie (Doug), Cody, Brianna, and Emma; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Paul, Raymond, and Les Rainwater; sister, Pam Kerbersky; and her father-in-law, Charles Hammond. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years, Terry Hammond; her brother, Richard “Dick” Rainwater; and her mother-in-law, Helen Hammond. Bonnie retired from Almond Corporation, where she worked for over 30 years. She also was a lifetime member of the Heights Eagles. According to Bonnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be any services. Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy VNS and Hospice.
