Carol Hutchins

Carol Sue Hutchins (Bowman), 82, of Muskegon, MI, passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 22, 2023. She was born on December 5, 1940, in Huntington, Indiana, to her late parents Clyde and Pauleen Bowman.

Carol was a dedicated wife, mother and loving grandmother. She was a homemaker for many years while her children grew and later worked for the United States Postal service as a rural route carrier. In her free time, Carol enjoyed being a Band Parent, Scout leader, snowmobiling, and crafting. She was an avid quilter, knitter, and seamstress.

Carol is survived by: her siblings, Ellen (Ron) Villaneuva, Llynn Evilsizer, Doug Bowman, Dennis (Brenda) Bowman; her children, T. Allen (Sis) Hutchins, Teresa Winebrenner, Andrew Hutchins; and her grandchildren, Veronica (Luke) Curtis, Ben Winebrenner, Kaitlyn and Bailey Hutchins.

She was preceded in death by: her husband of 49 years, Robert E Hutchins, infant daughter, Pamela Sue; and her siblings, Patricia Watts, and Claudia (Neil) Karel.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5-7pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel 1783 E Keating Avenue Muskegon.
