Catherine Anne Guenthardt

Cathy was born July 21, 1960 in Muskegon to Raymond and Dolores Guenthardt. She worked for many years as a dental receptionist for Dr. Edward Aamodt and most recently worked as a kitchen staff member at OVEE. She attended Wolf Lake United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to her children and grandchildren’s sporting events and was an active hockey booster in her younger years. She also enjoyed traveling and trips to the casino with friends, however, what brought the most joy to her life was her grandchildren. Cathy was a selfless, nurturing, independent, strong-willed, out-going woman with an infectious smile. She will be deeply missed.

Cathy is survived by: her children, Jill and Brian Guenthardt; grandchildren, Cambria and Sailor; sister Sharon (Roger) Gregorski; nieces, Christin (Chris) Taylor and Jenifer Gregorski; special friend, Carolyn Andreas; special cousin, Judy Polcin; and numerous friends and family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Theresa and Mary Jo; grandparents, Frank and Genevieve Polisky and Jacob and Louise Guenthardt; and special grandma, Lillian Radamaker.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Wolf Lake United Methodist Church 378 Vista Terrace Muskegon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Interment will be at Egelston Township Cemetery.
