Chad was born on April 14, 1978, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Timothy (Kathy) Conant. He attended Muskegon Public Schools and, in later years, found his place in the food industry, where he enjoyed working as a chef and in food preparation.
Chad loved being surrounded by family and friends and cherished the time he spent with them. He had a passion for music, both playing and creating it. He also found peace in nature, often taking long walks and searching for sticks to carve—something he truly cherished. He truly cherished his time outdoors, appreciating the beauty of nature during his walks. However, he also found joy in playing video games, particularly World of Warcraft, which provided him with a sense of escape and adventure when he couldn't be outside. It's heartwarming to see how he balanced his love for nature with his passion for gaming.
Chad is survived by his parents, Tim (Kathy) Conant; his daughter, Kira Conant; his girlfriend, Eileen Johansen; his sister, Heidi Picklesimer; his nieces, Katherine Picklesimer, Stephanie Conant, and Stephanie Bryant; his nephew, Kaleb Grant; and many extended family members and friends.
Chad will be remembered for his love of life, his creativity, his kindness, and the joy he found in simple moments. He will never be forgotten.
A celebration of life in honor of Chad will take place at 3815 White Lake Drive, Whitehall, Michigan 49461, on Saturday, May 16th at 3:00 PM. We invite friends and family to join us in remembering and honoring Chad’s life, sharing memories, and supporting one another during this time. Light refreshments will be served, and we encourage everyone to bring a favorite story or photo to share.
