Charles Denton Beckman

Butch was born May 27, 1943, the son of Howard and Shirley Beckman. He served his country proudly in the US Navy retiring in 1980. He married the former Dawn Young on May 17, 1980. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, VFW post 8846 and the DAV Chapter 11. Butch enjoyed bowling, fishing, and stamp collecting however, the most important thing in life was always his family. He was a fun, loyal, dependable, loving man who always put others before himself. He will be deeply missed.

Butch is survived by: his wife, Dawn; children, Rebekah (Aaron) Lauster, Susan (Brent) Oliver, Ronald Beckman, and Audrey Robinson; grandchildren, Hollan, Zachary, Emily Elizabeth, Emily Grace, Ava and Harper; brother, Terry (Jocelyn) Beckman; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Roy; son, Vaughn; and grandson, Jarvis.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church 4381 S. Sheridan Dr. Muskegon with Pastor Scott Church officiating. Visitation will held 1 hour prior to the start of the service at Church.
