Charles A. Gangwer, age 56, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Charles was born in Muskegon on October 18, 1957 to parents Clarence and Virgene (Blanchette) Gangwer. He worked at Irwin Seating for several years. Charles will be lovingly remembered by his father, Clarence Gangwer; siblings: Thomas Gangwer, Barbara (Gary) Singleton, James Gangwer; nephews: Christopher (Elizabeth) Singleton, Benjamin Gangwer; niece, Kimberly (Mike) Thelen; and many other great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virgene and brother, Ronald (the Dude Gangwers). A memorial service will take place at Trinity Baptist Church (4381 Sheridan Dr., Muskegon) on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00am. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice or the Johnson Family Cancer Center.
