Dan was born March 4, 1947, the son of Daniel and Elfriede Bridges. He served his country in the US Army during Vietnam and was proud of his service to his country. He was particularly fond of Pound Buddies as he rescued two dogs from there. He also was a die hard Spartan Fan, enjoyed watching the Lions lose and was always a devoted Tigers fan. He also enjoyed photography and coaching. He was a kind, sweet, gentle, loving, compassionate, supportive, understanding mentor that will be greatly missed.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason Bridges, Scott (Angie) Snellen, and Nathan (Kayla Varao) Bridges;. Grandchildren, Liam, Jett, Britney (Joseph), Morgan, Ivan, Braydon, Tanner, and Sam; brothers, Terry (Judy) Bridges, and Larry (Anne) Bridges; and sister, Robin (John) Policka.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and brother, Randy.
In keeping with his wishes cremation will take place and no public services are scheduled at this time.
