DJ was born November 30, 1986. He was blessed with 4 children in his life, that were his entire world. He went to Orchard View High School. DJ enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, giraffes, and most of all, being with his family. He was a smart, big-hearted, helpful, strong-willed man. He will be deeply missed.
DJ is survived by: his mother, Shawn Wabindato; long time girlfriend, Jessica Pruitt, whom he called his wife; his children, Darren III, Brittney, Zoey, and Alex; sister, Alicia Wabindato; aunt, Shannon Lenoir; uncles, Buddy (Kim) Wabindato and Robert Boomer; his cousins, Mercedes, Brian, and Edrice; his honorary grandparents, Ray and Sonya Peace; and many other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by: his grandma, Sharon Boomer (Wabindato); and great-grandpa, Jacob P Wabindato.
His funeral service will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, 1783 E Keating Avenue Muskegon. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the start of the service at the funeral home.
