Darrol Keith Deter

Darrol was born in Hastings, MI to James and Ruth (Courter) Deter. He graduated from North Muskegon High School and would go on to earn an associate’s degree. Darrol had a love for the outdoors, but especially loved being on the water. He owned and ran a charter boat fishing service in Florida for many years, and was happiest being on the water fishing with his buddies. He also had a love for animals, especially dogs and cats, and leaves behind his beloved dog Diesel.

Darrol was preceded in death by his father James Deter.

He is survived by his mother Ruth Deter; children Sasha (Charlie) Deter and Josh Deter; 4 grandchildren Lilly, Nathan, Michael, and Luke; 3 sisters, Lori Fulton, Cathy (Jeff) Guiles, and Kimberly (Rob) Stoll; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
