I had the pleasure of meeting Dave through my cousin, Julian Espinoza, he and his family were very close to Dave and his wife. I will always remember his great smile, and his love for life. My sincere condolences to his wife Evie and family, and all who knew and loved this kind soul. I will miss seeing him and chatting with him when I visit my Espinoza family. May he rest in peace.

I’m sadden to see him go. Dave was such a friendly guy, every time I got to see him at his brothers house, he was the happiest man on the block. I’ll never forget when I had just met him, the day he rode his motorcycle and pulled into my yard sale with a Spider-Man mask on.. he bought from me if I remember right. Praying for comfort for you Evie and the whole Mendez family. I love you guys.

I went to Phillips School with Dave. He was always happy, smiling and fun. Wish I would’ve seen him later in life, sounds like he was still much the same neat guy. R.I.P. David, surely you’ll be missed!

I remember when my granddaughter Victoria was little, every time Dave saw her he would say “Now what’s your name again?” She would get so frustrated she’d say, ”Victoria!” With her teeth clenched. Dave got such a kick out of that.
