Dawn Louise Masterson

Dawn L. Masterson, age 57, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Dawn was born on August 29, 1956 in Muskegon. She had a passion for singing, especially country music. Her voice took her many places as she travelled around the country with her husband. Dawn will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 21 years, Glen Masterson; father, Gerald Hovey; siblings: Russell (Sharon) Greinke, Brenda Devlin; uncle, whom she cared for, Richard Miller; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Hovey, and sister, Russanne Greinke. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at 10:00am Monday, April 14, 2014 at Egelston Township Cemetery. A memorial gathering and luncheon will follow at VFW Post 7729 (6285 E Apple Ave, Muskegon).

Arrangements under the direction of Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, Muskegon, MI.

Dawn I loved you more than words can say!!! You were such a kind a selfless person and always put everyone in front of you!! I cried my eyes out after your passing!! You never gave up on me and always believed in me!! Whether if it was my singing or going to college you were always there to help and give you support especially when I was down. I will miss you and your irreplaceable. Your in a better place and can be with your mom and my dad!! Until we meet again my loving friend!! May you REST IN PEACE!!! I will always love you and could never forget you!! I sure will miss us laughing!!
