Debbie was born April 30, 1965, the daughter of Paul and Iva Pruitt. She married Brad Schmidt December 16, 1989. Together God blessed them with two children and over thirty years of marriage. She was very involved with Reeths-Puffer Schools, including working with special needs children, being the band secretary, and a PTO President. Debbie was also a member of Evanston Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, bingo, and bowling. Debbie was a caring big-hearted woman, who will be deeply missed.
Debbie is survived by: her husband Brad; children, Danial and Sonja; brothers, Dave (Mary) Pruitt, Tim (Carole) Pruitt, and Paul “Booner” (Debbie) Pruitt; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Evanston Avenue Baptist Church 1188 Evanston Avenue, Muskegon. Visitation will take place on Monday, November 29, from 5-7 PM at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel 1783 E Keating Avenue Muskegon. Visitation will also take place one hour prior to the start of the service at the church.
