Demarcus Deshawn Watson
(affectionally known as Marc)
God Shared Him with Us, and Now He Has Called Him Home
In the Beginning Demarcus “Marc” Deshawn Watson entered this life on June 16, 1982 at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, MI to the parents of Clarence Gene Watson, Sr. and Arlie Ray (Ollie) Watson, where at home 5 older siblings’ (Kasandra, Clarence Jr., Katrese, Latrese, and Ghania) were waiting to welcome their baby brother home.
Education and Training Marc attended Muskegon High School where he graduated in the year of 2002. After high school he would attend Muskegon Baker College and study Human Resources. This formal educational training would lead to Marc working as a Community Living Support Mentor for MOKA Corporation in Muskegon.
His Love Demarcus Watson and Sarah Blackmore met at McDonalds and became friends. This friendship would lead to dinner and a movie, and from there a beautiful courtship of 10-years, and finally the alter where they would say “I Do” as Mr. and Mrs. Demarcus Watson on June 21, 2014. From this beautiful union two sons were born Isaiah and Braylon Watson. Family Man Marc loved his wife, mother, siblings and family. But two of his heartbeats were his sons Isaiah and Braylon. After their births, Marc spent his time at their basketball and football games. He and his sons could be found often watching his favorite player Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. His Legacy Survived by his wife Sarah Watson and children, two sons Isaiah and Braylon Watson all of Muskegon, MI; His mother Arlie Raye Burks of Muskegon, MI; Six siblings Kasandra Burks of Detroit, MI; Clarence Watson Jr, Katrese (Quincy) Cain, Latrese (Robert) Ridderman, Ghania (Patrece) Watson,and Lakaya Totten all of Muskegon, MI; Father and Mother in Law Michael (Tammie) Blackmore of Ravenna, MI; and a Sister in Law, Jenifer Beebe of Muskegon, MI. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Demarcus was preceded in death by his father Clarence Gene Watson Sr, Grandparents Evis Lee Payne and Melissa Pearson, Turner and Cora Burks, Great Grandparents Johnnie and Catherine Watson, and Uncle Henry L. Pearson.
