

Denton was born on November 2, 1927, to Herman Valentine Moore and Nina Naomi (Dixon) Moore. He was raised in Muskegon and attended Muskegon Public Schools.
Denton married the love of his life, Dolores, and together they built a beautiful family. They shared 72 wonderful years of marriage until Dolores' passing, creating a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Denton was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Many people looked to him for guidance, wisdom, and encouragement, knowing they could always count on his caring advice. Denton faithfully served as a minister at the Chapel of the Three Crosses in White Cloud, where he found great joy in serving others and sharing his faith. His ministry touched countless lives, and his compassion and dedication will be remembered by all who knew him. In his free time, Denton enjoyed dancing, golfing, and playing beanbag. He looked forward to spending his winters in Arizona, where he enjoyed visiting family and friends. Above all else, Denton treasured time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be cherished for generations.
Denton is lovingly survived by his children, Deborah Syperda and Dale Moore; his grandchildren, Denny (Andrea) Moore, Dalene Foreman, and Robert Moore; his great-grandchildren, Shannon, Skylar, Delaney, Alec, Kohen, and Colson; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores Moore, and by his parents, Herman Valentine and Nina Naomi Moore.
A Celebration of Life honoring Denton's life and legacy will be held at the Chapel of the Three Crosses in White Cloud at a later date.
Denton's legacy of faith, kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
