She was born on December 29, 1924 to Louis and Carrie Lindsley in Muskegon. Donna worked for the war effort during WWII and retired from Bell Telephone Company as a Telephone Operator. She married Kenneth Carpenter on November 22, 1952 in Anderson, IN.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her 5 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Leonard Carpenter of Winter Garden, FL; her sister-in-law Shirley Lindsley of Muskegon; her brother-in-law Don (Mary) Carpenter of Groveport, OH; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation for Donna on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 4 - 7 PM at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, located at 1783 East Keating Avenue in Muskegon. A private burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery in Muskegon.
