Donnie C. Morey age 62 passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother David and sister, Deb Larabee. Donnie is survived by his wife Sherry, with whom he has spent the last 30 years; four children, Don (Michelle) Morey, Nicholle (Aaron Skiles) Morey, Lynn (David) Knox, Kevin (Janee Robbins) Wolters; grandchildren, Robby, Brandon, Codey, Sarah, Jazlyn, Lynn, Lexi and Abbi; siblings, Diane Lavasseur, Denise Morey, Donna (Greg) Brosco, Dixie (Ray) Bower, along with several nieces and nephews. Donnie was retired from Alcoa (Howmet) after 41 years of service. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 with Darry Hichue officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
