Mrs. Dorothy L. French went to be with her Lord on January 10, 2012. She was born on May 23, 1916 in Muskegon Heights, the oldest and last surviving of four children of the late Charles and Myrtle Richardson. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Robert T. French; a son Dennis L. French; siblings, Geraldine (Joe) Usmial, Alice (George) Vanderlaan, Clyde J. (Leone) Richardson and a granddaughter, Debra Marie French. Dorothy is survived by three sons, James R. French, Larry C. (Judy) French and William “Bill” French; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. According to her wishes burial has taken place next to her husband Robert in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Activity Fund at Sanctuary at McAuley or the Red Cross.
