Mrs. Dorothy Allene Winter, age 89, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010. She was born in Muskegon on May 21, 1921 to Andrew and Carrie (Jewett) Jorgensen. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ralph; 3 daughters, Carol (Don) Collins of IN, Sharon Mahoney of CA and Dixie Chapman of Fremont; special granddaughter and best friend, Angela Morin along with many other very special grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; special nurse from Homecare, Paula. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn in 1968 and by a brother, Archie Jorgensen. Dorothy was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery.
