In his younger days he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing poker with the guys, swimming in his pool, cooking on the grill for his family, and decorating for Christmas. He worked for Sackner Products for over 42 years. He was an auctioneer at Cowboy Jim's for 15 years. He also held flea markets and ran the country music jamborees' for many years.
He is survived by: his children, Paul (Tammy) Berry, Ellery Chandler III, Jessica "Chandler" Lomupo, Matt (Tina) Miller, and Jennifer Mulling; grandchildren, Austin Chandler, Cadence Veen, Amber Berry, Mark Lomupo, Shaelyn Miller, and Kaitlyn Mulling; sister, Ruth (Dave) Leedy; as well as special friend, Heather Tyler.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Ellery and Leona Chandler; and wife, JoAnn (Berry) Chandler.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. A luncheon will be held at Cowboy Jim's following the gathering at the funeral home.
