Erin Renee Stevens, 49, of Montague, Michigan, passed away surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 1, 1977, to Roger and Kathleen Fessenden, Erin lived a life defined by strength, determination, resilience, and an unwavering love for those she held dear.
Erin was the devoted wife of Rodney Stevens, a loving mother to Morgan and Isabelle and the proud and adoring “Yaya” to her precious granddaughter, Ivy Lune Elyse Knoth. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Known for her strong spirit, fierce determination, and a healthy dose of stubbornness, Erin faced life’s challenges head-on with courage and grace. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen, valued, and beautiful. As the owner of Blondies Salon, a business she built from the ground up, Erin poured her heart into her work and created more than a salon. She created a place where friendships were formed, stories were shared, and lives were touched.
Erin’s kindness, laughter, strength, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Whether through her profession, her friendships, or her role within her family, she made the world a brighter place and she always chose joy!
Erin is survived by her husband, Rodney Stevens; her daughters, Morgan Knoth (Alex Whitefield) and Isabelle Stevens (Nicholas Felt); her beloved granddaughter, Ivy Lune Elyse Knoth; her parents, Roger and Kathleen Fessenden; her sisters, Lisa (Joe) Ernst and Theresa (Corey) Smith; her nephews, Tristan Westrate and Brayden Westrate; and her nieces, Lily Westrate, Amelia Ernst, and Alaina Ernst.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy of love, perseverance, and compassion will live on through her family, friends, clients, and all whose lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
