Mrs. Eve Marie Funderburg passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the age of 78 years. She lived in Muskegon all her life. Eve was born on January 7, 1933 to Dean and Odessa (Cartright, Mund)) Davison and they preceded her in death. She graduated from Muskegon High School in 1951. Eve was employed at various jobs in her life time and met her husband, Wayne, while working at the Brunswick Corp. They were married on November 22, 1952. He survives her along with 4 children including 2 sons, Benjamin Funderburg of Muskegon and Steve (MaryLou) Funderburg of Coopersville; 2 daughters, Ginger Martinez and Susan Jagnecki, both of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren, Benjamin and Anthony Funderburg, Jack and Bryon Funderburg, Kelly Woodring, Vincent and Eva Martinez, Jason, Shannon, Corey, and Graham Jagnecki; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Henrietta Mund; brother-in-law, Robert Funderburg; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Robert Davison and Eugene Mund; 3 sisters, Florence Ingalls, Violet Noble and Maxine Gargan and by a great-granddaughter. Eve was a member of Hope Reformed Church, 1878 Evanston Ave., where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2011. Burial will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Faith. Memorial contributions can be made to Hope Reformed Church or the Humane Society.
