Fran met her husband Keith Alan Walker on a blind date and together they shared almost 60 years of marriage filled with love and cherished memories. Fran was a born conversationalist and loved to talk to family and friends (many of whom she talked to daily) always ready to share stories and laughter! Fran was a devoted hard worker, spending many years as a sales representative, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients and, also winning many awards. Her professional journey reflected her commitment to excellence and her remarkable ability to connect with people. Having spent so many years traveling for her sales job Fran, was a true human map of Michigan. She could get you to any city from any city in Michigan, right down to turn left at the blue house with the big oak tree, without ever needing a road map or a GPS! Fran loved being with her family, playing cards, working on puzzles, trips to the Casino, sewing and baking. Her famous "Paul's mom's stuff" was a must for family at Holidays as well as her jello! It was also recently discovered she could make one heck of a carrot cake!
Fran is survived by her loving husband, Keith, her children, Todd Walker and Tanya (David) Horne. Her grandchildren Sebastian Walker, Kayla (Josh) Veneklasen, Jessica Horne and Alison Horne. Many close friends of her son Todd, whom she lovingly called "her boys" all of whom called her mom. Several special nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
