Francis was born June 8, 1953, the son of Milton and Johanna Ripka. He was blessed with one daughter. Francis married Mihaela Oloeru on October 18, 2008. He retired from Hackley Hospital. Francis was a member of the FOE-Muskegon #668, and enjoyed going to Whitlows, reading, being outside, gardening, and going to thrift stores. He was a jokester through and through with a caring, generous heart. He will be deeply missed.
Francis is survived by: his wife, Mihaela; daughter, Megan Ripka; sisters, Marleah Kooi and Loretta (Bob) Brydon; nephews, Davey and Joey Kooi, Michael (Michelle) and Rob (Yajahira) Brydon; mother of his daughter, Louann Ripka; and mother-in-law, Rodica Oloeru;
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Vincent (Debbie) and Joseph Ripka; and brother-in-law, David Kooi.
Cremation will take place and a private service will be held for Francis.
