Geraldine Leone Lambkin

Geraldine was born on July 14, 1931, in Muskegon, Michigan, to William and Estella (Bissard) Blood. She lived most of her life in Muskegon and devoted more than 45 years of her life to working at Standard Automotive Manufacturing before retiring.

After retirement, Geraldine enjoyed traveling with her family and creating many wonderful memories together. Her faith was an important part of her life. She was very involved with her church, deeply devoted to her faith, and enjoyed reading her Bibles on a daily basis. Geraldine was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many people with her love and kindness.

Geraldine leaves behind her daughter, Cheryl Whipple; her son, Jeffery (Wilma) Lambkin; and her grandchildren, Matt, Ricky, Chris, David, Shawn, Jodie, Nicole, Nick, and Bobbie Jo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews of the Blood family, as well as many dear church friends. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Gayle Shults and Wilma Blood, and daughter-in-law Nancy Lambkin

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, William and Estella Blood; her beloved husband, Robert E. Lambkin; her children, Robert V. Lambkin and Michael E. Lambkin; her sister, Marjorie (Howard) Mundt; and her brothers, William Blood, Archibald Blood, and Charles Blood.

Cremation has taken place. A burial service will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Geraldine will forever be remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will live on in the many lives she touched and in the countless memories she created with those she loved.
