

Gil served his country in the United States Air Force for 7 years. After his time in the service, Gil worked at Campbell’s, and then later as a truck driver. In his later years, Gil volunteered with Senior resources, driving people to medical appointments, delivering meals for Meals on Wheels, and helping others where ever he could. In his spare time, Gil enjoyed traveling with his wife, Viola, taking trips to the casino (where he always seemed to be very lucky!), and spending time with his family.
Gil was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Benita Trevino, brothers Alex Trevino, and Cris Trevino, sisters Rosa Rodriguez, Tomasa Sims, and Alta Silva, and by his mother-in-law Mary Inosencio.
Gil is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Viola

Memorial services for Gil will be Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 1:30pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel in Muskegon. Visitation will take place thirty minutes prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
