Graviel C. Alvardo, age 69, passed away May 15, 2020 in Muskegon, Michigan. Graviel was born to the late Aldolfo Alvardo and Maria Delores Garcia on May 9, 1951 in Alamo, Texas. He worked sanitation for 22 years for Bil-Mar Foods.
Graviel loved the outdoors whether it was gardening, landscaping, planting, hunting, snow blowing, and sleeping, too. His spiritual gift was helping others: nothing was too big or too small for him. He loved his church, singing hymns, and what he loved most of all was his family.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Aldolfo Alvarado and Maria Delores Garcia, sisters, Rosa Landeros and Maria Elena Alvarado, and brother, Bulmaro Rodriguez.
Surviving and remembering Graviel are his wife of 29 years, Maria Alvarado, children, Gabriel Cororna, Corina Juarez, Jose Corona, and Jessie Alvarado, siblings, Maria Delores Garcia, Gloria Calderon, and Leopolo Alvarado, several beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many more cherished family members.
Services will be at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel (1783 E Keating Ave, Muskegon, 49442) on Wednesday, May 20 at 1 pm, with visitation from 10 am to 1 pm. Burial will follow services next door at Sunrise Memorial Gardens (2188 Remembrance Dr, Muskegon, 49442).
