Gregory Charles (Breeze) Bramer, 63, of Muskegon, MI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at his private residence. Born in Muskegon, MI on January 24, 1962. Greg graduated from Mona Shores High School with the class of 1980 & soon after enlisted in the United State Navy. He served four years stationed in San Diego, CA on Coronado Island. After an honorable discharge, Greg returned to Muskegon to be with family & friends, where he began what would be a long, talented career in the tool & die industry.
Greg had a love & understanding for the great outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, & skiing, among many other outdoor activities, with family & friends. He loved playing on many sports leagues over the years, including golf, hockey, & softball; if he was not playing, he was watching. He was a proud family member who loved dancing & laughing with his sister, cheering at his nephew’s hockey games, admiring his niece’s art, watching Michigan State sports events with his mother & bragging about his daughter’s accomplishments to anyone who would listen.
Greg was a kind & caring friend to all, the life of every party. Upon entering a room, Greg’s quick wit & humor commanded the space. Greg had a way with food & would prepare delicious meals for all who would sit at his table.
Greg’s family & friends will forever cherish memories with him at Thunder Lake, The River, Mt. Bohemia, Muskegon’s Summer Celebration, Mar Mac Lodge in Ontario, & Ruby Creek.
Greg will reunite with his father, Walter Charles (Chuck) Bramer, & brother, Kirk David Bowen. Greg is survived by his mother, Marlene Elizabeth (Baker) Bramer; sister, Elizabeth Ann (Bramer) DeYoung, brother-in-law, Craig Thomas DeYoung, niece, Sarah Elizabeth DeYoung, nephew, Andrew Hunter DeYoung; former spouse & best friend, Gina Marie (Bowen) Brannam, daughter, Angela Marie (Serio) Harris, daughter, Alicia Lynn Poulin; & beloved cat, Bode.
The family is taking time to privately mourn their loved one before they plan a private memorial.
