Mrs. Ida Lillian Heimler, age 99, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. She was born in Antigo, WI on August 7, 1912 to Edwin and Lois (Bird) Hamilton. Ida is survived by 2 nephews, Thomas Hamilton and Merrit Guerne; 5 nieces, Trudy Puleo, Evelyn Neibarger, Cheryl Horn, Cleone Carr and Judy Nauta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Heimler; sister, Ethel Guerne; brother, Charles Hamilton. Ida had worked as a beautician and owned her own beauty shop. She was a member of St. Simon’s Catholic Church in Ludington and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Muskegon. She was a member of the National Council of Catholic Daughters. Ida was an accomplished knitter who enjoyed her rose garden. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Time of Sharing will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Muskegon Bowmen Club, 2380 Central Rd. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary’s Church Restoration.
