I hadn't seen Ivan in many years however I've never forgotten our trapline meetings in the swamp. The kindness that he showed me as a young trapper trying to fit in with all the big guys will never be forgotten. I will always remember his smile when we would meet. RIP my friend.

Ivan will be greatly missed, I'm very happy to have called him my friend and I will treasure the many stories and memories of his trips to "the camp"... So many years have gone by, yet, the time seems so short.
Kathy and I will always have a kind word to say in his memory. We will always have a story or two ta share about Ivan.. especially around the campfire. We both will miss his friendly wave and neighborly banter as he made his way back ta camp.
Playing the "story time game" with Ivan was always a challenge. Trying to stretch that "drivethru" time always brought laughter from the other. Neither of us really needed to "win" but the pleasure of " I beat ya this time" was quick to bring a smile.
As a neighbor Ivan was always willing to offer help, always willing to "drive thru slow" and always willing to give freely. Our "fish dinners" will never be the same. Thank you Ivan for building that web of memories that will always be a part of Branchwater Farm and myself.
The "Woods Troll" will miss you. Peace

Ivan Cole we will miss you very much! You were a great addition to our family! I thank you for staying true to what you believed in even up to the end. All of us are a having a very hard time with your passing because you were our rock! All those who knew you loved you unconditionally and we knew you loved us the same! Heaven gained another Choir Member, however, I’m sure you should start right out with your Rocky Raccoon song! With our hearts full and our tears flowing we say REST IN PEACE OUR DEAR BROTHER IVAN COLE!
Love You Forever-Bob & Pat McDonald
