Jacqueline was born in Muskegon January 18, 1942 to Frank and Grace (Witte) Walsama. She was a lifelong resident of the area, where she was a member of Oakridge School Board for over 20 years, the Red Hat Society, and a quilting club with special friends from high school.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Grace Walsama.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband Bill of 63 years; children Gary (Sandy) Bird, and Kate (Mike) Arnold; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 2 brothers Ken (Penny) Walsama, Bill (Lynn) Walsama; 2 sisters Sandy (Ray) Buhl and Lori Spring; in laws Edna (Bob) Sims, Betty Wright, Lawrence Afton, and Paula (Kerry) Gould; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A graveside service to celebrate Jacqueline’s life will be 11:00am Friday, at Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Harbor Hospice or the American Lung Association.
