Jane attended Muskegon Heights Schools but earned her diploma from Ravenna Community Schools. She went on to work for Standard Automotive and Cole’s Bakery for most of her working career. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, fishing, and spending time with her family. Jane adored her nieces and nephews and never hesitated to spoil each one of them. She was a funny, loving, and feisty woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Jane was preceded in death by: Husband, Larry Mitteer; parents, Robert and Mary Taylor; sister, Linda Sander; brother in law, Allen Galbreath; and nephew, Brent Galbreath.
Jane is survived by: brother, Bob (Janet) Taylor; sister, Norma Galbreath; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Jane’s wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services are being planned at this time.
