Janelle went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, December 26, 2011. Born Janelle Elaine Schulz on September 22, 1941 to Eva (Lieffers) and Arthur Schulz. She graduated from Muskegon High School in 1959 and married Neil Peterson on June 24, 1961. Janelle was a life-long member of Calvary Church. She was a stay at home mom for years, until she went to work part time. Her last job was her favorite, working 12 years for the City of Muskegon as a driver for the Senior Transit. She so enjoyed helping the seniors. Janelle is survived by her husband Neil; 4 children, John Peterson of Muskegon, Randall Peterson of Kalamazoo, Shannon Schulz-Webb of Brentwood, TN and Shelley Graves of Nashville, TN; 5 grandchildren, Savanna Graves, Jordan Peterson, Nathan Webb, Sierra Graves and Kasey Gallegos; sister, Jennifer Payton of Kalamazoo and sister-in-law, Karen Schulz of Whitehall; also very special loved ones, Vicki Vanas of Kalamazoo and Kevin & Jen Graves of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Arden “Dutch” Schulz. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Calvary Church, 5873 Kendra Rd. with visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Church Building Fund. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
