

John Joseph Mogielski, Jr. passed away suddenly on March 06, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, cousin, and friend, who touched the lives of many with his warm smile and generous heart.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, John was the son of John Joseph Mogielski and Nancy Pilgrim. After serving in the military, he met his future wife Patricia in Colorado, got married, and settled in Muskegon, Michigan, where he raised his family. John was a family man at heart and was extremely proud of his family's achievements. He had a special love for his grandchildren and cherished every moment he spent with them. John was also passionate about music and loved attending concerts.
John is survived by: his wife, Patricia Mogielski; daughters, Samantha Mogielski, and Angela Mogielski; grandchildren, Julian, Kaelynn, Jaxon, Mila, Campbell, Elliot, and Blakeleigh; siblings, Joe, Angela, Mike, Paula, and Ryann; parents, Nancy, and Gordon Mehelich; a very close cousin, Danny; aunt, Paula Pilgrim-Casey; uncle, David Pilgrim; and many more family members and friends.
John was preceded in death by: his son, John Joseph Mogielski III; daughter, Jacqueline (Mogielski) Overway; sister, Mellie Mogielski; grandmother, Yolanda Pilgrim; and biological father, John Joseph Mogielski Sr.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 5-7pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 1783 E Keating Avenue, Muskegon, Michigan.
